Thanks misstara, I found out yesterday that the information wasn't even correct anyway so I don't know what's going on now, guess I need to wait and see.

The regular payment to the target CC went through so this card is now at £1588.15. Signature updated, 63 quid of debt gone and never to return.

Haha! So it is, hadn't even noticed. :D

Just ducking in to say all is well here with the Christmas prep, no big disasters requiring huge financial outlay, everything on target and going according to plan. I had my first Christmas lunch yesterday, another next week, an evening meal this weekend, a trip home next weekend. But its all budgeted for and as long as it comes in within budget, then it's all good. I'm watching every single penny. ;)

I also found out I'm getting an extra day off work over the hols. Yey! :j:j:j:j

Hope everyone has a wonderful debt busting day.

Wow, you're right, thats a lot of chatting on here!

Just wanted to say that everything is still going according to plan. We're off visiting family this weekend, then one more day at work before the Christmas break. I'm so glad it's finally here. I have very little planned except lots of rest and recuperation from a very busy, hectic, crazy time. I need a rest and fully intend to get one. :D

I hope everyone is well. :)

My regular payment just went out for one of the credit cards. That's £111.48 of debt gone now for good.

My new debt total is £13,171.03. I'm so close to going under 13k, I wonder how I could make that happen before Christmas?

    :xmastree:

    Happy debt busting everyone. :)

I'm off work now for Christmas. I thought this day would never arrive. :) The family visits are all done, the pressies are all bought and now it's just me and OH for a week. Yippee! :j

I have some spare cash in my bank account and I'm getting paid early this month, on Christmas Eve. I'm going to try for an overpayment before Christmas Day to bring me under the £13k mark. I'll need to do a few sums first as I have 2 extra expenses next month, tax bill and professional fees, but I have my fingers crossed that I can do it.

I just did a quick tally up of all my CC accounts to check that my totals are correct. I don't know how this happened but my total debt is actually £13,042.32, around £130 less than I thought! When does that ever happen?!?! I've just forgotten to subtract a monthly payment or something.

So I'm closer to being under £13k than I thought. :D
