Finally bought myself a sealed tin, so I have fed it with some £2 and £1 coins, a £5 note and a couple of 50p pieces. I'm not going to add it up every time I put anything in as I'd like a pleasant surprise next November when it gets opened!

*Please pop your number on your sig, it really helps me.

Good evening all Potters, I hope you've all had a good day. It's so good too see so many of you posting as it keeps the board flowing and makes such a huge difference to us all having other members here to encourage us!!
To all those our members who are poorly or low in any way at all, here are some loving {{{{hugs}}}} to help you get you feeling much better soon! :grinheart
Very well done with sorting through your bag, motivated! Amazing how we simply chuck cash in without a thought. Any more household treasures to be found maybe??!!!! Well you never know.
Oh 32b3, I’m getting so excited for you! Bet you’re all packed and ready to flee! Have a suuupppeerr time!!! Ohh nearly forgot, great savings too! Bon voyage! :hello:

You oh so lucky so and so jakes-mum!!!! I swear if you were to fall in a ruddy pig sty (not quite as my hubby would put it, but...) you’d come out smelling of roses!!!! :rotfl: Keep up the chinking as the coins pelt in!!!

Great, thanks for the helpful posts.

Still need to find a suitable pot, but have started it off with some change out of my purse that was annoying and heavy.

Don’t let change annoy you ever again, katiepants, pot it instead! Don’t worry too much about the pot, anything will do. For my first year I used a C!dburys drinking chocolate tub, it served the purpose!!! :D You’ve made a good start so very well done!!!!

Great to see you Emily, and well done in getting your pot back to chinking rather than that thud as coins go in!!!! :D

    Evening folks

50p potted today. Must keep on! Great to see so much potting going on - you're all amazing motivators!

You’re absolutely right Vicky, it’s lovely to see so many here boosting the moral for us all to POT!!!!!!! :jWell done with your cash too!!! :D

We ARE your family too Helen, we’re one big family here so don’t forget it!!!! It’s so good to hear you’ve got a great support group helping you through though, it makes life a lot more bearable!

If you’re ok to get through the next week then don’t worry about it Helen! Easy to say I know, but if you’re unable to change things then there’s absolutely no point in worrying about them! It took me years to realise that but I got there and I’m hoping you can too!
Meanwhile {{{{hugs}}}} from all your SPC family! xxx

What an excellent start Chutney, great potting!!!

I’m delighted to hear that Ruth, thanks so much and what an amazing start for you for the year!!!!! :j

Why am I not surprised to hear that Westie, kids of today eh!!:(

Ah but it’s still money for the pot siju! I never expect massive amounts, unless they’re donated by my DH, owt is definitely better than nowt! :dance:You have a super weekend too!

Of course every little helps Florence and that 5p along with others potted throughout the year will help add up!!!!:D

Crikey MrsShazbat, you're almost up and running like the clappers!!!! Very well done!!! :j

So pleased to hear you have a pot, loopychriss, and you've made a great start with an amazing amount too!!! :D

Have a really wonderful weekend everyone, and pot when you’re able!

Woow.Look at all these lovely new people joining our thread, Sue :j.Going to be a bumper year :j:j.
I have potted £40 today.A combination of work money, and the sale of a storage unit. The unit, from IKEA,has been hanging around forevvvver waiting for me to get around to listing for sale.Got chatting to a friend/new customer last week, and she said "I have been looking on Gumtree and ebay for an IKEA trofast storage system".I told her I had one, unassembled, waiting to be sold.I told her she could have it for whatever they are going for online. So I have £30.I can't remember, but I think I might have told her I could assemble it for her....:D

    Hi,
My name is Samantha and i would love to join this challenge!
I have recently started maternity leave and would love to be able to have a nice Christmas next year.

I would like a goal of £500. I don't know if this is realistic or not though 😂
