We didn't get a hamper, the loos didn't flush and none of the baths and showers were sealed

I tend to associate the verb, not the noun, to new build transactions......

We had a cafetiere, coffee, tea bags, toilet roll, kitchen roll, various cleaning chemicals, biscuits, a tea towel, keyring, mugs, a good housekeeping magazine and some vouchers inc money off for AO.

Have had an amazing experience with our house from the start, very minimal snagging and everything dealt with promptly. Really pleased.

    Nowt. Nada. Not a thing.

Completed last week and we didn't receive anything from the developer or lender.

We received a new home card personally signed by the site manager and sales rep, and a bottle of Champagne along with personalised key rings. Only a little touch but a nice touch.

On the day we moved in, both visited and the site manager arranged for someone to come the next day and fit all our curtain poles! This to me was amazing enough as I was dreading drilling into the new plaster and walls!

This was with Linden Homes in the South West.
