  • Another £8 to the pot - would have been more but my lovely child emptied my purse into his piggy bank on Sunday when being watched by his daddy.

Told daddy off but I found out that said child had also doe similar with what he could find in his pocket....

I'll have a word next time - he's only 2 but don't want him to think it's ok; bless him.

Potted another £5 from saved travel costs plus the 1p roadkill I picked up last night which was the highlight of a dreadful Bristol City match.
Sue - I figured it would be difficult to know how many are signed up to SPC11. Let's just hope it's a successful year for all who take part.

adventureofmemories - You are quite rightly annoyed at having to cancel your wedding for now but it sounds very much like the right decision to make. It's hard enough paying the bills and saving without another big wedding bill on top. Hope it happens for you when the time is tight.

I have just put £10 in my pot.Which is not a pot,cos I haven't bought one of those yet .The £10 included 3x £2 coins, and lots of 50p.(It was all the 50p that inspired to throw all those coins in my pot-having spent all day counting and re-counting my pot contents at the opening of SPC 10 pots,I saw all those 50s and thought "Well, they will be easy to count up at the end of SPC11",so potted them.

  • Good afternoon. Potted a bit of left over change at the weekend, didn't count it as want to keep how much is in the tin a surprise when I open it.
Cleaned the bathroom Tuesday and found 26p, no idea whose it was but it was potted. We swapped rooms with the children about a year ago, their toys are still boxed in our room, Started sorting them yesterday and found a whole 2p!! Straight in the pot it went.
