Well, its Sunday, and I have had an amazingly unexpected but truly wonderful weekend. Not often these come around, but when they do, they are most welcome.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Morning all,
The birds are tweeting this morning, through a megaphone, by the noise outside.:rotfl:0 -
Morning Folks!
Can't hear the birds here as the wind is howling!
It has been a long and difficult week at work.
Went to the live broadcast of Radio 4 'Any Questions' on Friday. Very interesting. Expected to dislike Michael Hesstletine, but he was a very impressive speaker, charismatic and very sharp considering his age. (Until he got onto the subject of schools ). We listened to ourselves on the repeat yesterday, and thought the audience applause was very good!
No shopping yesterday, as went to the Education Show. Not really in the mood, but enjoyed the talk from Simon Mayo and saw Michael Rosen from afar. 'The Big Bang' and 'Comic Com' were both on at the same time. Wishing I had gone to either of those instead.
Will need to go shopping today as basics are depleted after a week of living out of the freezer and cupboards. The 'wall of cat food' is finally down to the last box

Hoping everyone is warm, happy and well. Hugs to those not so.
It's rather breezy here too. Enjoy your day.“Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while you could miss it.” ~ Ferris Bueller0 -

Look folks, no mention of any food deal!
Oh, except.... yesterday used Booger survey free Wopper WYB fries and a drink, I asked for a Wopper meal 1st, then said with this (handing over survey receipt) then innocently showed the free 2 chicken fillets on the app. All worked as I had hoped, Wopper, fries, diet cola AND fillets for £2.88 and a couple of fwee chilli dip sauces thrown in to take home0 -
