Was looking for flights for 6 DUB-LAS Feb1st-Feb7th 2018 flying aer lingus about 7am and connecting for virgin atlantic in LGW and returning with the same airlines. Had great price via kayak totally disappeared from my searches when I try find again.

If someone had a couple of mins to check what price theyre getting for that to see if my cookies (tried to delete) are to blame.

    Much appreciated

I can't replicate your kayak deal but on google flights there are flights from £398 upwards. If you are not bothererd on which airline how about https://www.google.co.uk/flights/#search;f=DUB;t=LAS;d=2018-02-01;r=2018-02-07;sel=DUBJFK0DL45-JFKLAS0DL400,LASJFK0DL1512-JFKDUB0DL44;px=6;eo=e .

Good timings out of and return to Dub.

I'm currently in the Monte Carlo and will be downtown (4 Queens) Sat/Sun...

Are there any nice places to eat downtown? I was thinking the Main Street Casino Champagne Brunch on Sunday...

We stay downtown at MSS at the weekends.

The weekend brunch is more then acceptable for us.
Very cheap, and lots and lots of champagne flowing.
It's obviously nowhere near the top buffets, but for price and quality it is one of the best values for money we know.

Just be careful with the amount of champagne you consume,on one trip the server just started leaving the bottles at our table.....it ended up "ruining" our Saturday night,as it was the only time in about 15 trips to Vegas that we didn't go out at night due to feeling unwell.

We will be back there in October....and limit the free booze to just a few glasses.:o

I booked our flights last year in January, for DUB-LAS (via LGW)...(For June)
It was 7am Aer Lingus flight to LGW, then VA to Vegas....
    We paid £364 each...
Breakdown was: £99 Flight each way + £83 tax each way.....
I could only find the route i wanted at that price on Lastminute.com
As i wanted the return leg to be: LAS-LGW --- :LHR-DUB , and miss the last leg! ;););):D

I would like to endorse Total Wine and More at the Town Square south of the welcome sign. If you have a car, (even if you get the bus) this is a great place to stock up with supplies for the room. Baileys, Hendricks, Jack Daniels, Corona and Stella are all cheaper there than anywhere else.

The Hendricks gin was less in $ than it is in £ in Asda today. The only place I found a cheaper 6 pack of Corona was Gold Coast liquor store using my member discount.

Visited here last year for the first time and taken aback by the selection and as you say prices. They have a fantastic selection of craft beers there aswell :). These seems to be big in the states now.

We used to visit the Henderson location when we had a car. Now it's on a bus route, it's so worth a visit. We stay in Vegas for a long time and don't always want to go out in the evening. This place is fab for stocking up the room.

They giving you a choice of using MGM or Manadalay Bay pool ??
We check-in next Thursday, am guessing the lobby is down by the old Poker room still ? (probably masssssssssive queues given the lobby is half the size as I read.....)

They never told me at check-in about pools... but we chose Monte Carlo because of the pool access :) (and discount during renovations)

There is a leaflet in the room detailing we can use either pool (both, we don't have to choose one). We have been to both, no problem. We just showed up on separate occasions to each pool with our room card and in we went. Could even charge the Margarita to the room :)

I had never been to Monte Carlo before so cannot comment on it being half size check-in... It was a small check-in area though with long-ish queues! Around 15 minutes to be seen.

Worse still, we had paid for a Strip View room, when we checked in they had none available that were clean so would get one cleaned ASAP (max 15mins). We were told level 24... We waited at level 24 for 30 mins before ringing down using the house phone there. They apologised and offered to knock off 1 nights resort fee and $75 F&B credit (the magic honeymoon word!) and they promised 10 mins max.

After a further 30 mins I walked down. My partner stayed with our luggage. She found a general security staff who checked the key (and therefore the room) to find it was clean... I was told at the desk "oh it's just become available". They knocked off a further 1 day resort fee, but not knowing that it has been available the whole time until I went back upstairs...

Cheaper than CostCo? We stock up there! Although it's a bit of a trek, we go to both CostCo (Spirits + gas) & Target (mixers + snacks/breakfasts) in one trip!

I'm not a member of Costco. How do you become a member?
