An excellent way to save by putting a repaid debt in your pot, stepuptothepl8!! There's one sure way to make sure your DH doesn't get to your pot - HIDE IT FROM HIM!!!!!! BTW, did you know you haven't declared your SPC 9 savings yet??!!!! So, if you could pop over to SPC 9 asap I'd be very grateful.
Hi Sue! I did, it's post 3384 :rotfl: heehee!!
And I would hide it from him, except that it's an enormous pig from T1ger so a bit hard to hide...LBM 1st Feb 2015 £18182 to go

Hello potters,
I'm managing to pot something each day, the big sweetie jar I've used for the past 9 years is all sealed up and wrapped up in brown paper so I can't see how full the jar is and get tempted to count up every so often, I also have £40 in plastic fivers but I'm keeping them separate at the moment:DMFiT-T6 #17

A very good morning Potters! I hope everyone has a lovely Thursday and......pots really really well!!!!!!! To all our members who are poorly or down in any way, take great care and let these {{{{hugs}}}} help you feel much better soon. :grinheart
You're quite welcome mrs-moneypenny. It sounds as though that's the best way to sort your o/t money.
Sometimes it's quite nice not to count the exact amount of £s, siju, after all we just love the surprise of it all!!! :j
Good saving 32b3! What a relaxing and scenic way to travel - right away from the rat race of the roads, enjoy it.
I am so pleased you had a really lovely Birthday, Lynne, and managed extra for the pot as a result!!
Very well done to your DH, tatabubbly, isn't it wonderful when they're on side, you could say "they're potty too" not that I would! Great organisation for the weekend ahead; why not try the farmers market, they need the custom too! :T
Lovely to see you MLE007 and great saving with another £5er in the pot!!
Yours too Chutney!
dinglefoot wrote: ȣ7.54 potted - change from the last few days of going to the shops.
I didn't want to pot it until today because I needed to have enough change for the hospital car park in London for my LO's post-operation check up.
I was very excited - amongst the change was a very shiny 2016 Mrs Tiggywinkle 50p I loved Beatrix Potter characters when I was a child and she was my favourite
It's wonderful to hear how thrilled you are with the Mrs Tiggywinkle 50p, dinglefoot, it doesn't take a lot to bring happiness! I hope your little treasure has a very successful op and is able to be up and running soon after; a hug from me would be lovely.....well, for me at least! :grinheartFantastic savings, you're doing brilliantly!!

Ooops! My mistake stepuptothepl8, very many apologies as I was obviously looking below! Re your super sized pig, can't you put a cover over it and make it a seat??! Ah well just a thought. Smack his hand next time!

She's not quite 4 months old yet, so she won't be up and running just yet :rotfl: but I appreciate the sentiment and I'll certainly give her a hug from you! She was operated on 11.5 weeks ago and has been doing very well since thank you - she had an approx 4.5x5.0cm cyst and her right ovary removed at 5 weeks old after falling very ill very suddenly at 2 weeks old (my Mummy instincts instantly knew something was very wrong and I was right - we ended up being rushed to a London hospital) despite passing all pregnancy checks and early checks with flying colours The funny thing is, she took it all very well really; but it all made me really quite ill for a very prolonged amount of time and I'm only just getting more back to normal
I've been out today and looked for roadkill, but nothing! I also may need a tap on the wrist...I was very well behaved in Aldi a few weeks ago, as many of you may recall, and successfully stopped myself from buying some amazing UNICORN SLIPPERS :):)
However, today, I went a bit crazy in the baby event and got lots of clothes, baby wipes, nappies, a playpen, some blankets and some muslin cloths Still, it's all stuff that the baby needs or will need in the future - so it's ok as it's future savings, right? I also bought a new fireplace for the living room as I'm hoping to try and decorate it this year and it's cheaper than buying one from B&Q or similar. So, I get away with it right?! :A I promise I'll be better behaved tomorrow and try to find something to potSPC '21 #0750 -
Aww Dinglefoot, a very gentle hug for your DD and you from Me, our mummy radars are never wrong! I used to do that in the baby events when both mine were little, we had a cupboard full of nappies in various sizes and a stack of wipes, its a bit like baked beans, if the offer is good, you'll use them and they keep its worth paying out the money. I still do this but with gluten free foods when they are on 3 for 2, I dedicate £60 to G/F biscuits, cakes and pasta for DS Plus, if you have any nappies left when your DD grows out of them, as long as they are unopened, you can return them to the supermarket and change them for a bigger size (all the big supermarkets do this, im unsure about Ald1, L1dl)
Well Ive done it! I've booked my Villa  deposit has been sent and received and now i'm bricking it :rotfl: only 7 odd months of worry to go
£15 in the pot after taking DD's trainers back to the shop . . well I say trainers, they were advertised as trainers, they LOOKED like trainers on the website, but were in fact walking boots :rotfl: bought her a second pair online and as I had already spent the £15 from the budget I decided to pot it
Dunno what to do at the minute, DD has been suffering from ingrowing toenail for months, i've bathed it, sat and pushed the over grow to try and encourage the nail through, lifted the front of the nail t help it grow upwards and rather than getting better the other side has now gone as well and it keep bleeding She has a podiatrists appointment next week as she has flat feet so hoping they can tell me what to do as NHSDirect info has been exhaused and makes no differenceSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £0/£10000 -

Sending kisses for your little one dinglefoot. Poor scrap. Well done on continuing to resist the unicorn slippers, but I think stocking up on baby stuff is absolutely fine
I proudly potted £6, including a note yesterday, which for me is unheard of. More egg money expected today :j
Ouch to the in-growing tie nail Jakes-mum!0
