    I can really relate to you as my debt has come about from the exact same thing - I put myself through uni and helped out with a few bits mum needed when I found myself with a lot of credit landing in my lap plus more than the odd night out!

    My DFD is in 3 years time (although hopefully I can bring that forward!) and I look forward to being able to post the same debt free thread as you! :D
    2019 will be my year!!

    Congratulations!! You must be over the moon!! I can't wait for the same to happen to me but I have about 3 or 4 years to go. Reading your post makes me feel like I am just like you but just a bit further down the line and that I can do it too! Thanks for helping me to feel positive about my own battle and well done!! Enjoy your money and the freedom that being debt free brings!

    I'm almost there myself, a couple of necessary long trips put paid to mine being this month, but I should be there by Christmas :)

    Well done you :D

    I also done similar, thanks to advice from here, snowballing the biggest interest rated ones, and a few PPI claims also helped :D
    Life is now good :)
