No shift today but did manage to pick a wee 4 hour one tomorrow morning so will need to head to bed very soon. It didn't end up being a NSD as I bought a couple of things to go with tea - £3.50 spent. I did go to the gym though :)

Haven't posted for a few days as I've been super busy with work. Friday was a NSD, yesterday I decided to treat myself to a new top for the night out (£4 from Pr*mark) and then the night out got cancelled. I was really disappointed as I haven't seen any of the girls this year (feel like I've been a total hermit recently) but on the plus side I saved myself £20 and no hangover today :) I'll add £10 to the food budget and the other £10 I'll put into the direct debits account for that week when I won't be able to work any shifts for 2nd job.

My sim only contract runs out at the end of the month so I've been looking round for deals. I could really do with a new phone as the one I've got is very very slow but I can't afford to buy one so I've been looking at monthly contracts with the phone included. I don't care about having the most up-to-date phone, just as long as it works properly. I've seen one that is only £7 more expensive than my current sim only deal so will probably go for that.

I got an email about my friends hen weekend with initail costings coming in at £250  I emailed back to say that I can't afford that but as it is in Edinburgh, I would like to come along but stay with my sister to save some money. I'm currently waiting for an email back.

I got my payslip through for monthly paid job so will get £1063.99 on Thurday - working on a budget now :) Off work today so will go to the gym (once I can be bothered moving from the sofa), go to the supermarket and since it's a lovely day will see if OH wants to go a walk along the beach.

Well I went to the gym and the supermarket - spent £26.24. Will need to get bread at some point as I forgot to add it to my list but have enough for tomorrow. We had some lovely roast beef for tea with plenty leftovers to make meals for during the week.

It started raining so we didn't go for a walk, just had a relaxing day in not doing much. I'm off for the next 2 days as well :j popping round to a friends tomorrow night for tea and then on Tuesday I'm going out to visit another friend so I think I should take back the comment in the previous post about being a hermit ;)

Up early this morning to go to a doctors appointment, thankfully prescriptions are free in Scotland so that saves me quite a bit of money. The pharmacy didn't have everything I needed in stock so will need to go back tomorrow afternoon to pick it up.

I popped to the supermarket to get lightbulbs and bread. I also got a reduced price quiche which I have quartered and put in the freezer. It will do for lunches during the week - £4.78 spent.

The car club and phone bill direct debits have gone out today. Just the gym one to go out tomorrow and that's it for the month.

Plan for today is to go to the gym then do some cleaning and ironing. I also need to finish the budget for my monthly wage.

I went to the gym yesterday and then me and OH cleaned the whole flat. I also had a bit of a clear out and have a bag of stuff to drop off at the charity shop today.

I had a lovely time round at my friends last night, ended up staying until nearly midnight. We exchanged christmas presents :o that's how long it's been since we saw each other. She was saying that she thought I would be ok with just my drivers license for flying to my friends wedding as it's an internal flight so will have to do a bit of research and check this. If so then great that would save me money and I can just get a passport when I actually need one. As I'm not planning going abroad anytime soon, it could be a while before I need one.

My friends bridesmaid still hasn't emailed me back about going to the hen weekend but staying with my sister so not sure what's happening there.

I went to the library yesterday and have managed to get a fine of £7.20, very annoyed at myself but oh well I've put the date in my diary for returning these ones and will pay the fine when I get paid.

Don't think I said but I paid the electricity bill last week so I want to start putting money by each week for the next one as most of this one was paid for from the extra council tax money.

The gym membership has gone out today. I'm away to get my hair cut (in fact I better get a move on as my appointment is at 9.45am) and then go to visit my friend and her baby.

I still need to get a budget sorted for my monthly wage but I will definitely sit down and do that tonight. Right think that's it, hope everyone has a good day :)

Thanks monz :). Signing up for the 5k has definitely helped as I feel much more motivated now. I'm just away to finish my coffee and head there this morning.
