Sounds as if you're doing really well.
I can't believe all the parcels you send.. that makes me think I need to crack on with decluttering and sell some stuff.
Every penny counts with your PADs.Chandelier.

Thank you Chandelier We're clearing a proper hoard, so we do have a lot more stuff than most people, as you can probably guess from my regular whingeing

I have a child and husband- free day today :T :T
So I've started tackling the kids room. DH still has a lot of stuff stored in there  which I've been requesting is moved. As he's not doing it, then I will"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
Today's pads:
£1.41 to mortgage
£5.00 to savings
£5.00 to savings
£1.63 to joint od.
I returned my trainers today so hopefully not too long before I get a refund. I'm not that bothered as I managed to pick some up for £5 at the car boot sale last weekend and they are fine :T
Also had confirmation that my dvds have been accepted so £11 on the way from them.
I returned the trousers last weekend so hoping that I don't have to wait too long for a refund for them either. So much for bargains :rotfl: The trainers and trousers were both proper retail outlets so I'm not messing around private sellers, I wouldn't do that, I'd just resell again.
Right, better get back to it!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
Well I've done as much as I can for now. Lots removed from their room (and into ours!) but it's not looking so bad.
I've also made space to put a bookcase in their room (£3 from a bootsale last weekend :T) so that's tidied up their books a lot. They also have a little more space.
Happy with that for now. In the process I've identified a few more bits to go, (including some furniture if DH agrees).
Off for some lunch now. I might try and tackle some of the ebay pile this afternoon."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
You seem a much happier and relaxed jwil since you went down the DMP route. Payments are still being made, savings are accumulating and the house is slowly but surely being decluttered. You've come so far.well done.0

Thank you retired, I am. I just wish I'd done it sooner rather than struggling all these years. It's all going the right way for once! It's a nice feeling"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
Hello everyone
I haven't posted for ages
I had a nice but busy week off, managed to sort some more stuff out, made a start on some decorating (though haven't carried on!) and we did manage to go out a couple of days as well.
We've done a few car boots since I last posted, and as ever, continued with the ebay sales.
DH before he knew what I'd done mentioned about clearing out the kids rooms, so he's done some more in there above what I had done. There's still more to come out though.
I've not been making overpayments much this month as my MOT is due next week and I'm trying to save as much as I can for that. I'm worried it's going to be a biggie
We had a big sort out of the car boot stuff, so loads of that has gone to charity and to the tip. We've also added more to it!
Little jwil had his school settling in sessions and loved them so he's happy.
I got sent for a chest x ray due to long term issues, and that came back clear :T Antibiotics also seem to have cleared it up in the main as well.
I've been reading the DMP thread on here, which is fab! And there are a couple of new things I'm going to do. One is a claim for a refund of some interest and charges against one of my old accounts, and I am also sending off CCA requests to all of them. I just want to use it for information to see which are enforceable or not, some of them are very old so we'll see. I'm not going to avoid them, I will pay something to all of them, but I will focus on the enforceable ones. If any come back unenforceable I will see if I can get some low F&F. I've had most of my accounts for years and so have paid way more in interest than I originally borrowed so I'm not going to feel guilty."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0
