Netgear Powerline 500 wifi access point help please

This was all set up and working fine, then its suddenly stopped working. I've reset to factory settings, set up the access point and the adaptor.
However the wifi just drops off in the room with the access point. It asks for the password, which I input and it says its incorrect - it isn't! I can't access netgear genie to se up manually as I run a mac mini and it isn't supported!
Anyone have any solutions or should I just buy a new one.

Have you checked the wifi password on the back of your router?0

Sorted - thank you. Just need to get a windows laptop so I can set the same password for all of the network!!0
