E15/11/04: Free £25 from Citibank

Sorry to go a little off topic here...
Have been with Citibank for 2 years plus, and they seem to be fairly liberal with doling out cash. Me and my wife have a joint account, and a sole account each with Citi, and we had two cards each, one each for the joint account, and one each for our individual accounts. A few months back, Citi said they were dispensing with the second card, and sent out forms to indicate which card did we want to retain, so they could cancel the other card.
So far so good. Only that while they disabled the second card, they did not allow access to the second account on the still active card. They got a lot of complaints, and a month later, sent apology letters, that also said that as an 'thank you' for our continued patronage, we would get a gift of £25 each from them.
What they did was to credit £25 into my sole account and my wife's, but they also credited £25 twice into the joint account - not that I was complaining ;DIt's always the grass that suffers, irrespective of whether the elephants are fighting or making love !!!0
