Update submitted down to £53748 which if my calculations are correct puts me a little ahead of where I'd planned to be :A
Now the question is do I carry on as I am or do I take a bit of pressure off......?

I'd carry on while you can and then should something happen that means you need to take your foot off the gas you're not going to drop behind your target too soon

    Hello all,

Hope you're all doing well. I'm ahead of my target due to an unexpected gift from my parents. All now stashed away in high interest paying current accounts.

    Good luck to all.

Fantastic news, I'm in a similar position - nearly reached my 10% o/p allowance. (who would have believed it? - not me, for sure:A )
Am I taking the pressure off ? No way, it's going into a high interest bank account, in readiness for my next 10% allowance at beg Jan 2017. I'm getting this paid off asap. No slacking for me :D

Form submitted this morning, can't believe another 3 months have passed :)

Think we are slightly ahead of schedule which is good as I tend to slow down towards the end of the year

Form submitted. I was behind schedule last time as we had put op's on hold toto save for planning and architect fees.

Hoping I'm in the green or at least close to it!

I'm down from £128k at update 1 to £121,179 at update 2 so £7,235 in three months and almost £14k since the start. Not quite going to maintain the pace and my overall MFiT-T4 target remains a big ask but on the plus side will drop under £120k next month which is a nice milestone :D

Update 1, and i'm down from £135k at the start to £128,414, so a drop of £6571. Just green, I think? :D

No 30 reporting in - form filled in but I thought I'd post it here too! :)

Started out in Jan on £22,277.28 which is now down to £18,766.16... Mortgage reduced by just over £5.5k so far! :D

After being unemployed for a couple of months at the start of the year I started a new job which made me feel confident enough to transfer some savings that had been earmarked for mortgage OPs (but not actually OP'd just in case I needed them) so I've had a huge boost in this quarter as a result!
    Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!
