Apply before 2pm weekdays and receive cash by 5pm
Applications later than 2pm processed the next working day

So if you are waiting until next day chances are waiting is UPTO 5 PM tomorrow.

Hi guys first everpost so bear with me i filled in a application form and got accept for a credit card but the firm who offered it was not someone i had heard of before so i was wondering if any of you guys had heard of them details as follow:

the credit card is a RISE VISA CREDIT CARD

at the bottom of the letter its states

rise is a trading name of R. Raphael & Sons plc. R. Rapael & sons plc is registered in england (1288938). Registered office: Albany courtyard 47-48 piccadilly london W1J OLR. authorised and regulated by the financial services authority (161302)

any ideas or help guys will be well appreciated
    Hi,
I just wanted to make you aware that although Rise are a legit credit card issuer, the problems start when you want to speak to their customer services department.
I signed up for their credit card online, during which I was asked to supply a previous address, as I have not lived at my current address for over 3 years. Provided all the info requested and say and waited for my card. No card arrived, so a little concerned I rang the 0844 5560300 number to speak to what I thought was customer services.
That is an Indian call center and although very polite, my god it is very frustrating trying to make myself understood!
Turns out that Rise have sent out my credit card to my PREVIOUS address, and despite me doing everything asked of me since to supply the correct address etc, still no card, no apology, no call, no email, NOTHING!!!
Called yet again today, now some two weeks since sending in the details of my correct address, (by special next day delivery costing me over five quid!)
Still being told that no updated address information has been prcessed and to call back in another week!
I still have no credit card, and I am now extremely annoyed by the way Rise have behaved.
So yes@ the company and the card are both safe, but I will leave it to you to judge weather to feel able to contend with any such similar treatment.
When I asked the person at the Indian call center for a UK telephone number, I was told that they don't have that fascility and when I then asked for them to contact the UK customer services directly on my behalf, yep you guessed it, they don't have that fascility!
I do have the postal address: Customer Services Rise 51 Saffron Road Leicester LE18 4US.
But considering the fact that I wrote in, asking for a response by either email/phone or mobile, and got nothing, I really would'nt bother!
Good luck and I hope you fair somewhat better that I have.

I applied for a rise card and £100 cash advance at around 6pm last night the website said thanks for accepting their offer of a card and I had an email around 5 minutes later with my credit agreement. But when I phoned customer services she said they wouldn't be able to find my application yet.

Joined them under a month ago and have plauged by the dreaded foreign cold callers since.

My husbands monthy charge differs from mine, both are a rip off. Husbands a/c went over by £20 and he's been plagued by calls since even though he's explained the a/c will be cleared in a weeks time.

Awful wish I'd stuck to a payday loan when I was desperate!

I applied for a Rise Visa Card on 17th march. received my cash advance on the next working day so I thought ok this is fine. Over 1 week later I still had not received my card or pin so i rang customer services. Was told my card had been sent out on the 19th and can take up to 7 working days. I then gave it another week, still no card or pin. Rang back.was then told someone would look into why I haven't received my card and would get in touch. No one did. So I called back today. Only to be told that my pin was return as their system didnt recognise my address!! so now I have to send a copy of my address and proof of ID. to be honest I dont think I can really be bothered with the hassle. Will just pay back the cash advance and be done with it.

I applied today, for both card and cash advance, got a generic email saying I'd been accepted etc...but its so vague with little or no information. Tried calling Customer Services (had to terminate the first call politely, I could not understand a word he was saying), called back - and it strikes me that as someone already mentioned, it is just a call centre where they simply answer verbatim with the FAQ's from the main site. He did eventually give me another number to call but all I got was an voice on the other end saying this was Rise and then the line went dead. I really think its a matter of sit back and wait and see, if the cash advance isn't in your account by 5pm - it won't be coming at all...at this point, I'm not holding my breath. If the card does arrive, I think I'll be sending it straight back and if the cash advance arrives, they can have that straight back as well...my gut is telling me there's something dodgy here...

I just wanted to let you know that I have had a Rise Visa for the past 3 Months. Although they are pretty basic for things like customer service, and also have no online capabilities, it pretty much does what it says on the tin. I pay by DD every Month and they report to Equifax which is why I got it in the first place, to rebuild my credit.
