deepest condolences ATB, to you and yours.

I have picked and sorted just shy of 4lbs of blackcurrants! Since my recipe calls for 2lbs I need to pick a few more for batch two! First lot of jam's been made. I have also had the really useful box of jars out, taken out the rack (many years ago I got a gift rack of 3 jars of jam. Every year I refill with HM jam/marmalade and gift them to my parents. Who return them;)) because I now have all 3 jars filled - marmalade, blackcurrant jam and gooseberry jam. I have taken jam jars out of the RU box and put pickle jars in. This means I now have space on the preserves shelf for my full jars!

ATB - sorry for your loss x

GSR - have a hug and enjoy your time away x

skinty and Ishtar - great to see you both posting :D

Been out for a late birthday lunch with Dad today and have also started sorting my piles of paperwork. Think the shredder will be working overtime!! One load of washing done, some vacuuming and one film decluttered from the T1v0 box!

Completely free day tomorrow so will see how much more I can get sorted and, hopefully, make a trip to the CS.

ATB - bless your Grandad - he will be looking down from the stars at you all and will be so proud. Sending love xxx

It was Tiny's second birthday today and we had a full-on day with soft-play first thing, prawns and pasta for lunch (his favourite), quad-biking with big bro (my DSS) then out to Nandos for dinner. He is sound asleep in bed now.

    I am shattered :rotfl:

Happy 2nd Birthday to Tiny x

I have crossed everything off my list today and DH has done most of his - sadly rain stopped play when he came to fix the Gutterguard.
We also had a very nice lunch out - 2 for 1, of course :money:

Instead of cleaning my living room I decided to clear out my cloakroom!! THREE HOURS LATER I have given up. I can see the floor at least and I found the cordless phone I lost two years ago.

How can so much crap have fitted in such a tiny room!? I have three bin bags to take to the dump tomorrow along with a broken aired.

Will get to the living room tomorrow

Well done Michelle (makes not to add cloakroom cleaning to list in future if still in on supply).
