    Soo much!
On this new fangled forum, the thanks buttons don't make any sense. Sometimes it goes green, sometimes the number of thanks goes up?

Oh Fab! You have to be nice to me!!!

Pony Club today involved a spectacular meltdown by DD2 when she refused to get off the hoss and drink her milk.
So spectacular was it that DD1 rode Plops in the mini gymkhana games ( very slowly so they didn't win ). I have been kicked and bitten, not
by the animals but by my 7 year old.
Consequently day #2 of the storecupboard challenge and fiscal fast got blown in a mercy dash to tossco for half price pizza and Cotes de Gascogne.
That'll learn me for criticising the other parents. On the bright side, the Plops was a veritable angel, given that lead reining is a foreign concept to her. She was a proper comedy pony when she saw some eejit (sorry everyone but Laura Jo and Watty who will get it) lungeing a pony before putting their kid on it. The look on her face when she realised ponies could be made to do exercise WITHOUT A RIDER was priceless. Horrified!
So at least the whole family got a day out including the animals.

Ha ha PC sounds like fun! I wish I could have joined as a kiddo. I'm seriously thinking of joining RC (small issue that I've loaned mental horse out!!)
Can't bel someone was lunging before they put their kid on?! Not sure I would want a kid on something like that!????

Well no, I wouldn't put any of mine on it.

    How mental is the horse?

Lunging is sometimes the only way the ponies behave! Used to know one that would buck or pee off unless exhausted first. Owner finally sold him as a companion.
Am with Laura Jo on wishing I could still go to pony club!
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

He's in a lovely loan home now - going to see him next week :)
Tbh he's not for me as I can't seem to stay on!
He needs someone much better! He is just not the horse I tried out :(
He however is a total total sweetie on the ground and very loving. I am reluctant to sell him (even tho I know I should really!)

I never even went to PC - didn't get on a horse til I was 30 (we had quite a non adventurous upbringing!)

However I'm now riding / squishing a 13'1 pony so even tho I'm mid 30's (ish!) surely that qualifies me for PC?!

Riding club is the way to go. Like pony club with wine.

That sounds right up my street! I always ride better when I'm drunk!

Sounds ideal. As soon as Most Handsome is properly going again I'll find a riding club :)
