Weather has been crazy today. It rained here and 5 mins later you couldn't see any evidence of it. I hope it has stopped now. lol.

I am really looking forward to going out tonight. I have been craving chocolate and ice-cream all week so I am going to have a great big pudding :D
Have had a big snooze so hopefully after a shower I wont be tired later.

Not sure where we are going, we are meeting at wertherspoons. I am quite happy to eat there as its usually cheap and cheerful and I think Thursdays are curry night. Picking up friend at 6.45 pm and meeting others there. Taxi would be about £20 so cheaper to drive as I am not bothered about drinking :money:

    Payday tomorrow whoop ! whoop ! :j

Oh and I finally got hold of GP and they have now referred me to ENT so waiting a couple of weeks for an appointment ! Why they didn't just refer me in the first place I don't know, but I have waited this long so whats another couple of weeks !!

Gosh, buildings insurance really does sound like a pain in the bum :\

Hope you're having a fab time out with your friends. There's nothing wrong with a bit of Wetherspoons - it's cheap and cheerful as you say and it doesn't pretend to be anything else!

Glad you're making progress with the docs but they really are taking their time aren't they.

Enjoy your day off tomorrow; I hope the sun comes out for you :) We had a sudden hail shower yesterday too - really heavy for about 60 seconds then the sun came out?!

The weather looks nice this morning and it is not as cold today. I had a 2 hour lie in (usually up at 5.30am) then shoved a pair of jeans and a coat on top of my jimjams and went and moved my car across the road to an unrestricted space now people have gone to work. I have put the bins out and unloaded/ reloaded the dishwasher. I'm now back in bed with a cup of tea :D

Had a great time last night. My throat is killing today with all the chatting and I feel like I have laryngitis but I don't care !!

We stayed in Wetherspoons for curry night, I had beef madras with rice, nan and popadoms and including a drink for £7.65 and then later I had a cup of tea £1.10 and chocolate brownie with ice cream £2.50. total spend would have been £11.25 but my friend who I picked up in the car ordered the food and was insisting she paid for my meal as I drove, which was very kind of her but I wouldn't let her so she took £5 in the end, so only paid £8.60 in total. :)

OMG about the online banking. I hope the money is in. I'm sure it is.

Well done on enjoying self last night. Take it easy with throat. Speech therapist told me to steam throat when vocal chords were sore and closing. Put boiling water into bowl and it should help I hope.

Thankfully I have now managed to log into online banking and I have been paid :j

Tomorrow I am going into town shopping with the girls and as I have some cash left in my purse from last night I will join them in cost-a-lot

Today I have weeded half the front of the house, its only a small forecourt/garden area but I started to feel unwell. I think it was bending down started to hurt my neck, so I stopped and laid on the sofa. I slept for about an hour and I feel a bit better now. Not much achieved today but nice relaxing day not being in work. Thanks for the tip about steam SW, I will give that a try, I have just been drinking lots of warming cups of tea to ease it

I will update all my monthly account balances on Sunday & read my meters. I think the electric will be high this month due to no hot water.

    Good morning ! :)

Cloudy but dry so far today. I have tidied the kitchen, unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher and put a cheap pork joint in the slow cooker to make pulled pork.

I've checked my online banking this morning after yesterdays problems and it seems to be up and running as normal today, and my wages are still there which is good :D just ready for most of the direct debits to come out on Monday/Tuesday, not sure if a bank holiday makes any difference they usually come off on the 1st of the month.

I've looked at my entertainment budget for April, and although I had budgeted £50 I spent £113.69 from my account eek.
However I did go out lots including a friends 50th and DP's visiting.

The £50 in the budget together with the £30 credit from VM, petrol credit unused £20, soa buffer £17.94 & small credit in my account carried forward from March £3.06 = £121.00 so it was all covered spending. However I am now back to £50 for May so will continue with the vouchers and cheap meals out. :D Todays excursion will be paid in cash from the money remaining in my purse for April.

Am glad it is all sorted. I hope you are ok after the weeding yesterday. Electric is essential I hope the bill is low. It's heating up a little here after rain this morning but it is v overcast.

Hope you are having better weather than me and lots of fun.
