Lloyd’s Bank Personal Loan

Hello,

My partner applied for a personal loan of £13,000 on Friday which was approved. He wanted to have a think and decide what to do so saved the loan approval.

Then yesterday he went to go ahead with it but dropped the amount to £12,000 but his loan was then declined.

Does anyone know why this might be?

    Most likely a credit check was carried out initially and then a second one which is why it declined.

    Best to call and ask
