Anyone had any luck getting the Coop cashback for switching to them once they closed their original account after 1st October 2014?

T&C that I'm referring to:
Summary Terms and Conditions - £100 for you / £25 to charity
This offer is not available to existing customers with a Co-operative Bank or smile current account who pay in on average £800 or more per month over the three months prior to 1 October 2014, or since the account was opened, if that is a shorter period.

Thanks

I think its also the case that the £100 will only be paid once in this offer period since 1st October 2014, so if you already received one incentive you could open another Co op current account but wouldn't qualify for the £100.

    Unless anyone knows different?:)

Worth a shot? I hadn't thought of Smile bank...

Can you report back the success (or fail)?

It does say in the terms and conditions for Smile bank and cooperative that you can't get the incentive if you have previously held an account with either bank.

I got both Smile and Coop,

I switched from M&S to Smile got the £100 then switched it out to Nationwide when my OD expired.

I opened a Coop and switched from Clydesdale in July and got the £100 from them too, I did say to the lady on the phone that I had already had money from Smile but she said that because I had closed my account it was no longer on the system.

thats good to know Westie983 , that's how i read terms that if one is open then you can't get incentive on the other being opened but because you've closed one and don't have any acccounts with either then opening with then other does mean you can reap the incentive. How long ago did you open second account Westie983, was it July this year?

so i've applied yesterday for a smile account, having ditched COOP after i got the incentive. I have been given my new SMILE account no and sort code, tomorrow we are going to set up a switch over the phone. I will let you know if I get incentive, lady over the phone thought I would, she confirmed if I'd be depositing at least £800 and had at least x2 DD. My ddi have just been set up today from the donor account, hope this suffices.

Did you go Smile > Coop? I thought they're the same bank?
