    Hi eiggy, thank you for your query regarding incorrect credit file
    Although different credit reference agencies have different ways of recording arrears information it is likely the default applies to the fact that a default was registered and has never been remedied- i.e. you have never made all the payments to clear the arrears and bring the account back up to date. It is also worth noting that even if you maintain the payments made under an instalment order for a CCJ these are not the contractual payments so the account is still falling into arrears each month.
