I may just be a miserable get but this does not look much for the £60 they say its worth what about youse do you think its worth that?

Couldn't agree more, but then again of course Boots hike up all the prices because they know they will be selling them on the 3 for 2 Christmas offer and/or the weekly Special offers!

As such a cynic, you would think I would not give Boots my custom, but I'm an addict!:p
Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!

I think the last few years people have got wise to the fact these items arent such great value as Boots like you to think.
Also whilst the price has stayed the same, the items have got smaller.

I must say I do agree with you on certain items not being as good as previous. The bumper no 7 (£65 I think) isnt as good as last years, nor is soap and glory. I think overall its good for small gifts

Hi dont know if you may have the problem I had up to about Feb I had never had anything from Boots for about 18 months when I rung them up they said their had been a change of address (although had never moved) and they were sending it to that so they sorted it for me and things were resolved hope this helps:j

Thanks for this, I think complaining on here worked as I got home from work to find one in my porch! :j Very happy although my DP wont be when I spend a ridiculous amount in boots.

One thing I do wonder and it is probably a very stupid question but if you pay with points do you get points on that purchase? I am guessing not but you never know. I have nearly £40 on my advantage card but I am trying to decide wether it would be worth hanging onto them points until the boxing day sales, then I can treat myself or buy gifts to put away lol.

I received the leaflet with offers this morning and noticed the Advantage Card Shopping Event is on Thursday 1st November - For every £50 you spend in store you receive £12 in points.

You're right, you don't get points when paying with points.
    Meanies. :p :rotfl:

And lordy, who remembers those flippin Fearne Hat boxes! She's come back for another try! http://www.boots.com/en/Fearnes-Favourites-Hat-Box_1267258/

Not that I'm allowed to buy any - I'm still getting through stuff from 2 years ago!! :rotfl::T

Hope I'm not spoiling the anticipation for anyone but I'm not very good and waiting and seeing what comes on offer!

This years Soap and Glory set looks a lot smaller than last years.......... or is it me

Also it that offer was the weekend of the 14th December last year. Know this as I carried a load of them around Worcester and had to fight to to them into my suitcase to come home lol. I was only over for the weekend and they had sold out here, so before going to the airport I got my sister to bring me to their Boots store lol.

Maybe it'll look bigger when I see it in the shop lol
