Somerset levels flooding

Today I came across a facebook group, FLAG Flooding on the levels action group https://www.facebook.com/groups/FLAGSomerset/
I read many posts and feel the word needs to get out, people there are struggling, lots of help coming in but lots more needed. Some people are asking for legal help as their homes may be flooded due to work done by authorities but they want to know where they stand if forced to leave.
Khalsa Aid, a humanitarian group have been there this weekend coordinating deliveries of sand and helping volunteers to bag it and move it on.
A path has been made to help residents safely get to work in one village.
There is a need for waders, wellies and many other things. People are coordinating collections for food, bedding, towels, pet food etc
What can be done, what can we do on MSE? There is no government agency coordinating help as far as I know.
Some peoples homes have been underwater since the end of December!

Although I only mentioned photos, the same emthod could be used for things such as certificates children have got from school, possibly special paintings/drawings.
Have joined the FLAG group on Facebook so I could post it.
Hope it helps a few people0
