    Goal of the month - £500 on groceries for family of 5 - Apr 2011 - £620! :( May - £454.85 so far.

    Thanks. That reminds me... my mum made mine and I need to check whether it's ok to go through the machine because of the beading and embroidery. Not planning on selling it though, not yet anyway. Mum spent months making it and sewing embroidery and beads on!! :D

    I wish I'd sold my wedding suit - only threw it out last year - we got married in 1973! Should have gone to one of those 60's/70's specialists shops - 3 piece 'HORNE'S' made to measure - including 'flairs' - worn once. (smelt of moth balls though).
    Seriously though - why keep it?

    Thanks for the advice, make take the plunge and try it now. I've nothing to lose by doing so, only space to gain!
    Bank loan - [STRIKE]£9949.52 [/STRIKE]/ £8705.83 * Loan from DH - [STRIKE]£600[/STRIKE]/ £350 * Overdraft - [STRIKE]£0[/STRIKE] £648.47
    Total debt at LBM (09 2006) - £10,549.52 Total debt on 14 Mar 2007 - £9704.30 - 8.1% Paid off
    This week's budget - £20 Spend so far - £32.50
    March's target - keep overdraft below £600 - failed :(

    whoops, it wouldn't fit in the washing machine, but had already sprayed it with vanish, so it's soaking in the bath now and I'll handwash it later. Must say, I didn't realise how dirty it was at the bottom, so not sure it'll even come close to clean
