Pefectably allowable if you are out getting some money in!;)

Wish I could go to St Ives and make money - ended up in Stevenage at the start of the week - can't say it was fun. Or pretty!

Its been a few weeks since I was last on and I have plenty to tell!

So, the jobs I did with a friend have mostly been paid out(£140 still outstanding) but I cant add it until its all paid out and all jobs verified before splitting it equally. :)

I used to host students a few years ago and the school called me 10 days ago to beg me to have a student for them for 14 nights. I initally declined as it would be a lot of hastle moving bedrooms around and its over Wimbledon (was hoping to go!) The school would normally pay £13 per student per night during July but because they were desperate, they offered me £20 per night! Thats £280 but I still declined. My sister was staying at the time and she persuaded me otherwise....so here I am with an annoying student upstairs playing loud music and talking very loudly on the phone. 5 more nights to go...and this experience has reminded me why I stopped hosting! I'll have to take expenses out of the £280 such as new bedding/towels ect, but I'll make a tidy bit of profit out of it. Just no more! :D

I havent really had two mins to myself, Ive had a guest for the last 6 weeks and I want my house back! I need to get my finances written out for July- this is the first month in years that i havent had them ready for the start of the month but I really am just so busy with jobs, housework and people that I havent been able to!

Hope you are all well? Look forward to some news :)

Oh no, I spoke too soon! I've just agreed to host two more students from 27th July-9th August. Im not sure why I crumbled, I think the lure of money is just too much! It'll be one spanish and one italian so neither will know each other and hopefully that means they will be well behaved...! Wishful thinking on my part.

I've withdrawn part of the travelling jobs payment, mainly because I was getting fed up of not being able to add it, but it will arrive soon and more will be verified in a few days.

Still havent managed to do the finances but its a nagging thought that jumps out at me at every opportunity so I must get it done tomorrow. :D

    Currently £6552.15

Not too happy about that as Im a few hundred shy of last months update but I still have the student money and travelling job payment to add. I aim to get to £7k (de ja vu!) by the end of the month.

FREE screen wash from O2 priority app at halfords
FREE skylanders figures from O2 priority app at Game

I dont think Ive ever paid for screenwash and the skylanders figures Ill put straight on ebay :D

A few jobs going live at 3pm on Field Agent so I'll be waiting for that. Its annoying as that'll be school run time so I'll have to quickly reserve them whilst walking to the school!

Have a lovely money making day today everybody :)

£238 for the student :D (but still £42 short, not sure if I should ask for it?)
    FREE screen wash (again :D)
    £12.84 APG online vouchers
    £1.80 APG in-store vouchers
    £10 FA confirmed
    £1.65 TCB

Dribs and drabs today but Ive made some money doing surveys and managed to get some more screen wash as I hadnt activated the off on my phone :D

FA jobs have been coming up all day but as soon as they show, they disappear again. Managed to do a £10 job last night at Sainsburys but then I bought my 2 sprogs a gift each for excellent reports so that paid for it!

Skylanders thing on ebay and two parcels to post in a bit, hope I get some sales soon as Ive listed 30 items last night- my ebay box was more like a mountain!

Cant add the student money to my savings until the end of the month as it'll be part of my wages once i calculate it all :)

Hi Nat, if they said they would pay it, then you should ask.

    Remember, you're worth it!:D

Quite right Bugslet :D My only reservation is that the owner is a friend and I find it really awkward asking for money. My good friend owes me £570 from 2 years ago and still hasn't paid back a penny, despite me asking(which gets harder every time I do!), but thats another story :D

Someone owes you £570??!! OMG I'd be going bleeping ballistic if that was me!
Ask the school for the money for the student.

Haha. You update your sig when you're ready!
