I need a new radiator in my kitchen. I'm looking for a modern vertical one.

I've encountered the Ximam brand - these appear to have good reviews online.

Are they good? Can I fit TRVs to them?

Any alternative brand suggestions?

I want a mid-range price-point - don't want to waste my money on something cheap that will fall apart, and also don't want to spend a fortune.

Any thoughts on Ximam or suggestions about alternative brands?

    Looking at who sells them I'd avoid

    Reina, Vasco, Bisque, fondital

    A aluminium radiator would give out more heat and most use less water if it's a add on to the existing not system

    It will be connected to the existing system.

    I thought stainless steel rads gave out more heat?

    I got a Reina ss for the wetroom, although it's not fitted yet. The reviews on the Reina that would be more suited to the kitchen are poor, eg they apparently won't take TRVs.

    Could go wet plinth and save cluttering up the walls with a radiator.

    Reina make many radiators and not just stainless towel rails

    Aluminium is far more conductive of heat than steel , whether mild or stainless

    Polished stainless emit more heat than there chrome plated versions

    All radiators with tapings will till a TRV, some radiators have rear entry or 50mm centres but there are off the shelf valve kits that allow for this

    I'd avoid plinth heaters, these are dust blowers
