Thanks, I saw it a few days ago, that's what's spurred me on! Have even looked into project 333 but not sure I'm ready for that yet...

I've had a really productive month since I last posted - so thanks for the kick-start to the process.

Since I last posted the main things I have done are:
    • Decluttered the kitchen and cleared more room on work surfaces
    • Taken 3 boxes full of stuff to CS
    • Painted my bedroom floor (a job that I have been putting off for over a year!!!)
    • Painted my desk to fit in with other bedroom furniture
    • Started decluttering the shed
Prior to this I'd started to feel quite low and felt "stuck" because I wasn't doing things that needed to be done. Starting to sort out the house has made me feel motivated in other areas of my life - I've lost 4lb in the last month, read two books I've been meaning to read for months, caught up with phone calls and visits "owed".

Plenty still to do but I am due to go on holiday next week so in the mean time I will just aim to keep things tidy and perhaps have a cull of my summer clothes as I sort things out to pack.

When I get back I want to finish decluttering the shed, paint my front door & plant up a window box.

    Thanks for the motivation.... :T

Finally cleared out the medicine/baking cupboard. I'm ashamed to say there was creams and medicines in there exp. 2007. I also stubled across my box of pearl barley/lentils/chickpeas/kidney beans etc so that was a major find!

Oh Happy Day!:j Its bin day YEAYYYYYYYYYYYY!

4x bin bags of rubbish after some heavy duty flinging:j
1x standard lamp base totally beyond hope (have saved the plug though:rotfl:)
    1x broken suitcase beyond help
3x rusty baking tins, which have already been replaced by the silicon type (why did I think they might be useful??)

More carp gone from our living space:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T

Just had a rough count up and I make the flingage this month so far 48/100 for May. Very pleased with that:dance::dance:

    I am motivated!

    19 items listed on EBay
1 large box and bag taken to charity shop
1 old bra's that no longer fit taken to the bra appeal in my local sainsburys store.
1 large bin bag filled and ready for the charity shop tomorrow.

Going to start on the kitchen cupboards tomorrow and clear out all those containers that I never use.

Still a ton of items for eBay in the corner of the bedroom but my challenge is to list 25 items by the end of the day today and not to let my eBay listings fall below 25 - that way I should never hoard items again if I need to meet my own challenge. Anyone else fancy the EBay item challenge with me?

Thanks everyone for getting me motivated.

I would like to 'de clutter' my so called line manager right out of my life - why are people promoted way out of their depth and beyond their capabilities:mad:
