If you lose your regular bank card and someone uses it, you can get it refunded quickly if you report it soon after you realise it's gone.
I use my Natwest bank only for travelling on the tube and buses. I lost it once, it got used for about 5 transactions but I got refunded it the same day I phoned up. Remember after a few transactions it will ask for a pin and won't be used again.
So if you have trouble finding what you look for, I hope this helps your fear of contactless. Just use a bank account you don't use for everything else!0 -

Not on the Underground and buses it doesn't.I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0 -
yeh doesnt look like its going to be possible. the closest is the bank card thats isolated from all other accounts.

Why not just stick with an Oyster card? It seems to be exactly what you're after.Save £12k in 2019 #360

No, that's cause there's no pin option! But if anyone tries to use it in a shop after a few transactions then it'll ask for the pin. (like what happened to me, but again I got it all refunded straight away)0
