I'm completely overwhelmed, at loss.

Please accept my apologies if I'm not posting in the right topic. I'm going to try to give you as much details as I can. I'm married, self-employed, my husband is employed. We bring £5.200 between the 2 of us. Our rent is £1800, we repay debts about £800 every month. We have huge outgoings. I'm working as much as I can in unsuitable job for me, my mental health is suffering but I have no choice. I don't know what else to do. I don't want to file for bankrupt as we have never defaulted a payment, just struggling to see the end.

    Welcome!

First and foremost - complete an SOA and post in on here (link below). This will give everyone a better indication of your outgoings and the level of the debt. Then people will be better placed to offer advice and work out a way forward.

Morning and welcome to the boards Calmfab,

They're a friendly lot here and will offer some great advice.

As Mahsroh said, please fill in a SOA by clicking on the link and format for MSE. This lovely lot will then offer a way to help you cut your outgoings.

    Good luck

I am in a very similar position. Just about to do a SOA and hoping the good people on here can bring some light at the end of what feels like a long dark tunnel. You are not alone. Breathe.......
