  • Thank you Mara, that's a fab idea, one which I think I will use for a relative's Christmas present.:) Unfortunately the guy on Saturday night isn't keen on beer :( so at this rate he'll be having a crate of lager! :rotfl:

  • Don't know why I ended up with two posts saying the same thing. Doh!

Had latest bcard bill, balance is £7862, although because we reduced the payment last month, they say we are behind by £6.04, even though they've been having double for the last 6 months.

Also had a letter from sky to say the monthly bill is going up.......again.

And the window cleaner came today so that was another £10.

I must say the house feels chilly tonight. But we've put our fleeces on so the heating stays off.:)

  • What a miserable day. Went to sports club this morning, kids had sausage sandwiches so a bit of a spendy morning.

Had to get petrol in my car...again.

Went to get present for tonight, feel a bit guilty about not buying 'the proper stuff' but an @ldi equivalent (alcohol). :o

We have £5.75 left in the bank. Bus, milk money and money for leisure pot sorted, thinking of transferring some of the Christmas present money over, just in case!

OH had his bcard statement, paying £10.32 per month but his interest is £3.78 per month, balance is £1745.

Have only done one load of washing today, that's split between the airer and the airing cupboard, will do a dark load and then the rest can wait.:o

Hope it's going to be a cheap night tonight.?

  • The weather has been horrible today. Haven't managed to peg out again. As we're not using the TD and still not putting the heating on, drying the washing has become a challenge! Just using the clothes horse and the airing cupboard.:o

Have made a jelly tonight (my answer to everything we'll things get tough. Lol). Can't believe how much food we've got through this weekend.......because we've been in more this weekend.:(

On the plus side today was a NSD.:)

The window cleaner has cleaned out the gutters (ggggrrrrr which OH could of done!!), need to pay him for the pleasure.

Hope everybody has a good week.xx

  • Yesterday was a BAD. Today was just LSD, just bought a loaf.

Managed to peg out 3 loads today, didn't quite dry, have turned the dinning room in a laundry room moved the table over and put 3 airers up.......needs must.;)

I was on fire tonight when I got home from work. Sorted washing, cooked tea and tidied up, vac'd all downstairs, cleaned downstairs toilet, mopped kitchen floor, folded dried washing that was in the airing cupboard (from the weekend), freezer empty so started to defrost it and I've just walked the dog.:)

Looking forward to OHs payday on Thursday.....not wanting to wish the week away!

  • Hi mummy, you know me i'll keep pegging out for as long as possible hehehe.x

Glad it's not just our house that looks like that brizzle lol. Really trying to keep a tight rein on the spends.x

Had parents eve tonight, all good.:) Called into sburys after (had to take £20 from Christmas money.), got basics, spent £11.75 and put £8.00 petrol in.

Now got loads of ironing and still got a few bits on airers.

Have booked a space at a charity table top sale in a few weeks so we're now going to start sorting stuff out and blitz the place. Got loads of stuff to get rid of.:)

Payday tomorrow, need cash for childminder, school photo (going to use for Christmas presents), lottery, leisure pot. Need to do a proper shop this week as have run out of basic bits.

    Heating still off!

Alice our heating is still off, OH says he is cold when he looks at the thermometer, my solution is to check what he is wearing and tell him to put more on. Children haven't complained just dressed themselves more appropriately.

Our kids haven't moaned either, just OH. ;)
We will leave ours off for as long as possible or unless we have company (keeping up appearances and all that).

Called into t3sc0 express on way home as had to take a detour. Picked up shopping for £11.45, should of been £18.73, things were reduced. Bargain!

Wasn't quite on fire tonight as I had been. But did do all the ironing. But all the sisters away.....temporarily!!:)

Still need to do a proper shopping list/meal plan, need freezer stuff too.
