Is that really much of a deal? I thought that was the standard price for the hot dogs and 50p for 4 potatoes, 50p for tomato sauce and 50p for some bread rolls - doesn't seem that special.

My post is simply reporting this week's 7 day deal.
Just looked on supermarket price comparison site and the ketchup is £1.45 in Tesco, and I think loose bakers in Aldi are 24p each. I do though agree that 50p for tin of hot dogs, and pack of rolls is comparable with other stores prices.

Ketchup is 49p in Lidl for a bigger bottle (not Heinz, arguably better)

Anyone who buys spuds individually either doesn't eat many potatoes or hasn't thought this through!

not commenting on whether it's a good deal or not.

Whether you think Lidl's ketchup is better than Heinz is neither here nor there.
It's not a like for like comparison.
But the heads up about the price may be helpful to other people.
