Baby sites to sign up to for development

Name Dropper First Post First Anniversary

As a long distance grandma, I'd like to sign up to a baby site that would keep me in touch with one if my grandchildrens development stages so I can know appropriate gifts etc to buy.
Which site should I sign up to?

    Babycentre is pretty good for this. :)

    I agree with babycentre, but bounty and Emma's diary are also good. But, I'd also talk to the parents, babies all develop at different rates, and some in different areas... Like our son, he is quite in line with everything, but 6months being in supermarket clothes!! (Very odd!!)
