Any ideas for using green tomatoes?

Morning folks! Despite not doing much with my veggie patch this year, I somehow managed to grow a couple of late summer tomato plants from seeds that must have been left behind.
They grew too late to give any decent ripe tomatoes (only flowered at the end of August!) but I have ended up with about 3kg of unripe, green cherry tomatoes that I've hastily had to pick after the frost last week. I hate wasting anything from my garden and it seems a shame to chuck them in with the compost or leave them to rot.
My first thought was green tomato chutney but does anyone else have any other ideas on what I can make with them?
Thanks in advance!

Stick them in the window - moonlight will ripen them.
That's what my mum always did.... we always had a row of green tomatoes sitting against the window.0 -
Ripen on the windowsill. If necessary add some ripe ones or a banana to help ripen them.0

You can make a lovely mexina salsa verde with them. Just google the title for the quick reipe0

Thank you all! I think I'm going to go give them all a go, make a chutney with half of them and then try out that tarte tatin. They are very sharp as they unripe cherry tomatoes that didn't have any summer sunshine on them but the salsa verde sounds cool and looks pretty easy from the recipes I've found online. Thanks again folks! :-)0

Boke chutney, my dad forces a jar of the stuff into my hand every year and I drop it into the bin when he's not looking!0

To ripen green tomatoes you need warmth, so a warm window ledge or even in drawers that are warm or near heaters. Also, keeping a banana next to them gives off a chemical called Ethylene that helps them ripen. Otherwise as others have said make chutney.0
