MCDonalds debt recovery plus

Hi, really need someones help.
I received a parking charge from Debt Recovery Plus saying that I owed for staying in McDonalds for slightly longer than the allotted time (I was at a children's party). As I hadn't updated my vehicle log book I didn't receive any of the original letters from MET Parking Services, and now I am receiving letters from DRP saying I owe them money. I have sent several emails to MET as per previous threads but I have nothing back from them, I have even tried calling and left voice messages. I received another letter from DRP saying that if I didn't pay £160 within 14 days they would pass my case back tom MET advising they take legal action.

I have spoken to DRP and explained that I had emailed MET and they said they won't reply as the case is now with them and that I need to pay the full amount. I also explained that i haven't recieved any correspondence from MET and they basically said they sent letters and can prove it so its basically tough!

Really don't know what to do, please help me!!!!!

    once done , read post #4 of this NEWBIES thread, as it deals with debt collectors

    IGNORE the debt collectors, stop phoning them , NO MORE CONTACT

    MET don't do court.

    Given that it has just been made harder to go to court I would be surprised if they started now.

    Do not under any circumstances ring debt collectors again.

    After all that is said on TV and the papers let alone google. ???

    DRP are just a meaningless company designed to extort
    money and they try to trap people with scary letters.

    As said ..... IGNORE DRP, BLOCK THEIR NUMBER, DO NOT
    TALK TO THEM     as they have fully trained baboons ready
    to make even more threats.

    Let them waste their time and pass it back to MET

    Doubtful MET will do anything to you
