    Hi,

Really sorry to read you are/have had a rough time lately. It sucks, and can make financial planning seem even harder. So, at risk of sounding patronising (which this isn't intended to be) a big well done to you for making a new account and taking control of your debts!

I'll be following your story with interest :)

Its okay dont worry although i miss the dogs loads but i am realising more and more how bad my life was with her. And also the fact it had a huge impact on my mental health.

Being here i am not alone i have rekindled friendships with old school friends again, i am weight training 3-4 days a week going running on weekends. Money has being tight but come january i am starting with stepchange at 300 pm again.

I was basically a permeant stress head over everything there:money, having no me time,
the relationship being knackered, the neighbour issues, the fact with the dogs and around the
house she did nothing i was a dog walker and house wife etc etc She would hoover maybe 1-2
times a week/put the odd load of washing in but put it in then leave it in the machine hours.

Even though i was doing nights 4-5 night shifts a week she would never pick me up from work so i had too spend 90mins getting home etc etc

The more and more i look at it now i spent 5-6 years of being took the mickey out of. She would take me in but upon getting home after ten hour night shifts i had 2 2-3 mile dog walks too do she
occasionally would do one or two a week.

I cycled between periods of managing doing everything for 4-5 months but then mentally i would have a break down it happened loads maybe 5-6 bouts then i would get myself well return too work then it would happen again. The body is a brilliant thing but it does just shut down when its had enough.

I love the dogs too bits and i think i would of coped with them better but she wasnt supportive enough, she was either never there (running around after her family) @work or she was sitting in front of the tele playing games constantly on her phone. I would say too her i am going too clean upstairs she would then !!!!!! off too her mams. So i would end up cleaning the house top too bottom on my own. I dont know if any of you has ever seen how much fur comes out of a husky, put it into you tube.

Ex related rant over sorry lol close friends have said what happened and i have explained and alot have said i needed the tattoo with the word mug on it.

I can always remember one argument it was a baking sunny day, i was picking up after the dogs in the back garden, then i had mowed both lawns back and front, i then got in the shower and sat down for ten mins she then rang me because she had !!!!!!ed off too her mams and asked me too change the laundry and if i had cleaned the kitchen. No help, no she was sitting in her mams while i did everything. I went light understandably our garden at the back was huge think 100 foot length by 30-40 wide easy job

  • I did wonder whether as things started settling down you would start to see positives emerging from the situation - I'm glad that's the case. View it as a lucky escape perhaps.

I agree with EssexHebridean - hindsight is so often a great healer!!

I saw VR a few years ago too - so good! I don't really go out to gigs anymore, which is a shame but I do love live music so I will take you up on your MTV Unplugged suggestion :)

I have watched that mtv unplugged way way too many times. And i dont know if there your flavour of vodka but Alice in Chain's mtv unplugged is unreal too. Scott and Laney Staley are two big big losses.

I will post again later on tomorrow thank you everyone who has commented on my new journal so far your awesome guys.

  • I'm glad you are getting some perspective on your relationship, it certainly is a big part of the moving on process and will help you think about what kind of person you want to be with in the future. It reminded me of some of my old boyfriends, boys/men that I first went out with solely because they were good looking. (I know - how shallow!:o ) Once we were involved, I'd overlook bad behavior or make excuses when I really should have ended things. Once it becomes normal, you don't even see it until you are out again. Luckily I found my hub after several disastrous relationships. The first thing that struck me about him is how kind he was, to everyone - and especially to older people and animals.

Did you ever buy your new guitar? The talk of the unplugged shows reminded me about it.

  • I'm so glad that you're feeling better. Sometimes you can't see what's happening because you're in the middle.

I saw Alice in Chains in the 93(ish). They were really good, I never saw STP though
