BOOTS Colleague In Store Assessment

Hi

I have an instore Assessment for a colleague job at Boots in the am.

Any ideas what to expect any tips you can give me?

It does say `as part of the exercise will be on the shop floor, we ask that you wear smart dress` i have my interview suit so that is covered.

Thanks

They will be looking for someone who is client focused so smile and be welcoming and if asked if you can find something for someone then smile and politely say 'I am sorry I don't know where that is but I will find someone who does' then follow them to improve your store and product knowledge. Check that the client has the right information then smile again and move on.

Yes its a sales assistant. Need a job and fancy a change after 20 years in an office.

Did the assessment, spent 20 mins on shop floor.

Think it went ok, find out in 2 weeks.

Was there a group of you?

I worked for Boots a few years ago, after attending one of these (about 8 years ago, so they must have been doing them for a while!). I found I could really tell who would get hired, some people stood out much more than others. So if you think it went well, it probably did :)

Good luck. You'll get a staff discount card which saves you 22% off boots own products and 12% off other things. And they have double discount days for staff too!!! So you can get the 3 for 2 offers plus 44% off. Brilliant! I've been to one and they kept the store open late for staff only. It was great!

NO it was a 1 to 1 interview, but most of it was shop floor based.

I had to hand out baskets and pack bags, ask if anyone wanted an advantage card, everyone had one!
