9. Say no when I need to!
10. Save £5000 for maternity fund

What are your goals - just being nosey...lol????

  • Aims from end Dec 2013 to end Dec 2014:
1: Reduce mortgage debt by overpaying.
2: Final payment on credit card to clear it and close it.
    3: Write one book.
    4: Keep training.
5: Build up savings - have a jar I use for lose change.
6: Declutter the stuff I've accumulated over years
    7: Change job
    8: Keep letter writing going
9: Keep on top of workload
    10: Reduce amount of stress.

That's it and I'll review it this time next year to see how I've done
  • Mine are so scary, I hardly dare write them down ...

    1. Give up alcohol for a year
    2. Pay off £10k of debt

Frankly, I'm more scared of the first one than the second, but I know it's the key to unlocking the new habits I want to take up of ...

    3. Declutter the garage (eBay/car boot/tip) - to help clear the debts. Easier to get my act into gear at weekends if I haven't got a thick head from red wine.
    4. Healthy eating 90% of the time - to lose weight and have more energy. Staying off alcohol helps me stay off the snacks in the evening.
    5. Do more knitting - saves on snacking, uses up some of the wool mountain stash, and might even make something useful for next winter
    6. Be more frugal with food - use up leftovers better

What do you think, too ambitious?

    Good idea for a thread!

    Mine are:
    1. Pay off my two consumer debts (card and loan, just under £5k)
    2. Lose weight
    3. Move out

Can't do the third until I've done the first, and I reckon not spending on snacks will help me with the second ;)
  • So basically we're all fat and poor? ;)
(I hope everyone takes this as the joke it's intended to be!)
