Another payment of £25 sent to Bcard today. I only have 2 more monthly payments of £125 each scheduled before the 0% runs out, and the remaining balance is £515, so £265 still to clear using this challenge . Determined to do it though so I don't waste money on interest Xx

Nothing else from me yet as been studying in uni lib (9-9) every day (only 14 weeks and 1 day to go and I'll be thesis free!) but thought I'd pop on and say "Hi". Today is my bank account skim day so as soon as I get text from the bank I'll be popping on for more debt busting!

Great to see everyone doing so well.

Hi looking forward not back and welcome to this challenge. We're a friendly bunch here :hello: To work out you percentage you need to divide the money you've paid by the debt the multiply it by 100. So if I pay an extra £60 on a £2000 debt it works out at 60 divided by 2000 is 0.03 x 100 = 3% Hope that helps.

Thanks for this I am struggling at the moment I've lost all of my child tax credits family allowance and CSA money and the crap has hit the fan... (yes I've been expecting it) lost 25% discount on the council tax... that's a wooping £1300 per year (might change this to 12 months instead of 10 months to pay) Then the housing benefit overpaid by £133.00 .. and to top that up my £30.00 per week working tax credits will go down soon as they have overpaid me...:eek:
MAY BE VISITING A FOOD BANK VERY SOON...... I have 3 jobs and walk 2 hours per day and finish at 7pm.. the law states I can live on £72.00 per week. If you take away the rent and council tax alone theirs not much left over for food and bills... maybe food is a luxury item. Sorry rant over I wonder what David Cameron's got for dinner?

Sorry to read all that jaxsmar. My DH receives DLA after a head injury and I get Carers Allowance for looking after him. We also struggle so I sympathise entirely. Have you had a look at the 'Make £10 per day' thread on the Debt Free Wannabe board for extra tips? Xx

Early bank skim for me this week of £5.69 as I am busy this weekend, and I know I will forget if I don't do it now.

    Have a good Easter everyone.

ML did say we wouldn't get thousands ... but better in my pocket than theirs! I am trying to set up some emergency funds. I had a letter from the council tax people.. they are giving me 1p off per week then 54p off per week
