Stop dissing the carpets folks. I was in a carpet store the other day and it looks like patterned carpets are on the way back .A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0"Do what others won't early in life so you can do what others can't later in life"0 -

I had a quick google earlier and it seemed to boil down to £7,000 and some hassle to do so. Bet there are a few "animal bones" sneaked out with the rubbish from houses sometimes then.......
When we moved into this house there was an old shed base in a weird place, we decided to take it up and turn the area into a pond as it was full of rubble too. You know how the conversation goes 'let's hope we find some bones and the police will come and dig it out for us', ha ha ha etc...
No prizes for guessing what we started digging up.
I said we would stop if we found a skull, we didn't, but I have no idea what they were and it was a bit un-nerving to keep on digging them up.0 -
Oh, does anyone remember that MSE thread from that man who posted the picture of the leg bone when he was taking up the patio. Everyone was freaking out.
Then it turned out he was some sort of props man and it was fake, LOL. That ruffled a few 'bad taste' feathers.
ETA: Here is part 2 - I can't find the first one, maybe it got deleted: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=3164676&highlight=police0
