    Speky I should also mention that both my sons live away from us - Leeds & London - but it makes no difference with Whatsapp, skype etc.

    Have spent a sunny hour on the allotment today- tidied up the bean/sweet pea netting and my flower bed. Also saw a rather large toad sunning himself :)

    It has been a glorious day here, beautiful early sunrise, wall to wall sunshine and a lovely sunset. Didn't really want it to get dark!

    Go for it if you get the opportunity Speky. You would only be a few hours away, easy to travel by whatever means and it could be your dream job. I've always said to my children that they should go and try new opportunities, no shame in returning but lots of what ifs if you don't.
