Hi Lazer, that's amazing , I feel like I am battling on. We have to take a hit on the house which leaves us in negative equity and so we have to look at ways to pay that off... That means I could be another 6 year at this game. Its very demoralising but that's the thing with long haul there are no quick fixes ... if only .. hope everyone is doing ok xI AM A MONEY MAGNET, THEY ARE MAKING MORE MONEY FOR ME AS WE SPEAK:pMIKES MOB, DFW NERD 1071, DFW LHS 132!MIRACLES HAPPEN I'VE SEEN IT WITH MY OWN EYES. I'm popping on here for an update. I've been busy paying off my unsecured debt.
Firstly, my final credit card will be paid off in October, yeah!
Secondly, the term loan is now down to £8300 from £19653, not bad from overpayments from last 3 years. Getting there at last.
I started off with £45,000 unsecured debt on this loan and credit cards and the total is now down to £8300. If you are anywhere near to where I was, you will get there. Tiny steps of overpaying or paying off your debt mean everything progresses to reduce the total. It's taken 5 years to get to this point and pay off my unsecured debt to this amount. I think it will take another 3 years to of the loan off in full.
I'll pop back on next year with another update with how the overpaying is going.
Good luck everyone! Stick to your repayment plans and you'll get there, you will.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550
