M & S is a company where the Manager will be ultimately be governed by head office procedures. I don't see how one M & S manager can accept the vouchers when another can't. It will be uniform across the group.0

Well Im not so sure. If one has £16 to spend and hasnt spent it in a decade.
Its not really here nor there if they return.
Just because the voucher is old it doesn't mean they haven't shopped there, we just don't know.
A little bit of goodwill from a store manager can change an occasional shopper into a regular one.0 -

Well I would think it unlikely a semi regular M&S shopper wouldnt manage to try to use a voucher in a decade.0 -
I would think that it's extremely unlikely that anyone could avoid M&S for ten years, they are in nearly every high street.
Really? There is plenty of choice.
I use M&S as its one of my locals. However if we didnt have that one,I wouldnt regularly be near the others in Edinburgh.
If you are right, then why have we got unused vouchers 10 years+ later?0 -

Perhaps they forgot about them or perhaps they were lost and found.0
