Cleaning a black sink

When I moved into my house 3 years ago the black blanco sink was all new and shiny.

Now it seems to have lost its oomph! Bit like me lol! I did a quick google search but as I have no idea what's its made from didn't really help. Its not marble I know that but apart from that I don't know what it us.i just want to make it like it was if possible.it seems to have faded a bit and is clean but not shiny.

I've got a black sink made by Franke, I think the material is called composite. I think they all get stained and look faded over time, I find the best thing to bring back the blackness and shine is to clean the sink and dry it as much as possible, then rub in a small amount of olive oil with a piece of kitchen roll.
  • I will give it a go. Thanks
