Textbroker - Writing for money (not vouchers)

I've been with Textbroker for 9 months, am on level 4, and have made over £1000 with them. I get quite a few Direct Orders now. They are reliable and always pay on time. They have been a godsend since I had to give up one of my part-time jobs due to a back problem. I recenty got another job, but am reluctant to stop writing, as I really enjoy it.0

Conversely, I've been on it since August, am 3 stars and have earnt about £14 off of it... I've not had a job since September!£2023 in 2023 challenge - £17.79 January0 -
Ive been using textbroker for a few months too now and have earned well over £250 from some very half hearted attempts - i probably spend half an hour a week on average on it!
If you are good at writing and put the effort in it can be very rewarding financially. Networking with clients helps too - it scored me a couple of different regular direct orders.
My only problem is I cant seem to manage to pass the proofreading test, otherwise I could easily work at 5*, as i've had enough consecutive 4* ratings. Got a huge batch rated the other day all with good constructive feedback or a 'well done'0 -
I've only completed one lot of 5 pieces, got a 4* for all of them so that's ok. I'm still not very confident though - I only go for articles that I already have some subject knowledge of. Is that what everyone does? If not, how long did it take you to just try anything?
(Half the time I don't even understand the client instructions!)0 -
I try anything at all, even if it asks for specialist knowledge, with in reason. Obviously technical stuff or extremely detailed articles would be a no no, but I think it's all about research. Google google google... Gather loads of relevant information and condense it down to the most interesting points.
Then use your basic writing skills...make a point, back it up, elaborate..... to bring it together. So yeah, I'd try almost anything if I can research it. I've been at it since October.0 -

I did find it difficult but managed to get 90% in the end.0 -
As a matter of interest, how many 4*s do you need to have collected before you can try to get promoted to a 5*?0

The proof reading test has to be completed to be promoted to a 5* writer.
I clear around 800-1000 a month from Textbroker, as I do it full time.0 -

I would like to get my fifth and final article written sometime soon so I can go up to 4*, this is ridiculous now.£2023 in 2023 challenge - £17.79 January0
