    Isn't this thread redundant? I can see the merits when the sticky thread links to several threads that used to be stickies, but to have the sticky thread link to just one other makes this one pointless. Replace it with the old one and save everyone the pointless redirect.

    Also I've never seen this board before.

    Just tweeted to Martin, @MartinSLewis Martin, we booked on Trip Advisor,hotel in IOM 4 £155 = 4 nights, could have booked direct 4 £140 with Breakfast thrown in. x

    Hasn't he got to be nominated by someone? I thought he was a Sir already? If he isn't he should be. He has saved me a fortune over the years.

    Martin is also a much needed voice for the less fortunate, speaking out against social security cuts and pay-day lenders, but I am going off the idea. There was such a petition in 2006, which now seems to have expired, but I am more concerned that the higher these awards the less the recipient deserves them, reminding me:

    OBE = Others' Bleeding Efforts;
    MBE = My Bleeding Efforts.

    He genuinely deserves an award in my opinion even if some others get them with little effort. Goodness knows how many of us he has helped through the tv programmes and this site alone. I hope he gets the highest award. If he isn't a Sir he should be.
