School PTA Bingo - prize ideas please

Thanks for looking

We are running a charity bingo night at school to benefit the school. we did one a few years ago and got some great prizes but with the current climate im not sure who to ask?

Any ideas for prizes or companies who may donate - even something like samples that we could make a hamper up with?

Thanks

Try circulating a request among the parents and school staff for any unwanted Christmas pressies they won't use.

February is a good time to do this as people are realising that they've had whatever it is for a couple of months, won't use it and could do with the space.

You might find the teachers have got loads they don't want as they sometimes get presents from their pupils at Christmas that aren't suitable.

We do this for a charity I fundraise for and get lots of lovely toiletry sets, DVDs and CDs that people already had, costume jewellery, all sorts of things really.

Another thing you can do is ask people to donate the (non-perishable) items they get when shops are doing BOGOFs. You can then make up food hampers, baby goods hampers, toiletries hampers etc.
