Bott and Co may well be entitled to some payment depending on the terms of your agreement with them. Usually if a client pulls out from a conditional fee agreement and then goes on to get compensation the solicitor is entitled to a payment. This differs from the case where the solicitor terminates the agreement on the ground that he considers the case will no longer succeed.

What should I do then? Contact them to say what happened? Contact RA? Contact the Onbudsman?

Give Ryan Air the information they've asked for but understand that you may be liable to pay something to Bott and Co.

I might as well send a email to Bott to ask?

    The alleged Ringleader.........
  • Nevermind...

I have contacted Bott and their answer is quite clear: "We investigated your file and can see that you did not sign our terms and conditions. As such, you are not liable for any of our fees."

    Now I need to proceed!
Any help/advise on what to do next and how to deal with RA would be more than welcome. (I will send them an e-mail to give them my living adress as they requested but then...?).
    I will keep you posted.

Wait and see, oh impatient one
  • hahaha I know... :)
  • wonder if someone can advise me - while my claim is not with RyanAir, it is with an airline with no UK Presence - however my claim is for 22 passengers all on one booking. So not sure where to start as Small Claims limit is only 2000 euros.
So should be along the same principles following the guide. Just no idea where to start!
