Hi firefly, the delivery came on Friday about 5 mins after we had gone out so re-arranged it for Tuesday. We have a big airing cupboard in our bathroom and I have a big shopping bag full of cleaning products so will have to make more room but will be giving some to the family as well.

Had a really busy weekend as OH's DD and family came yesterday and they were doing a jigsaw that I had got and of course they hadn't finished it so said they would have to come for Sunday lunch to finish it off LOL. Good job I had a joint in the freezer I could wip out.

Hope you have all had a good weekend.

did they get the jigsaw finished ?
used to love doing them & then we used to glue them & frame to use for pictures,
don't think anyone does that now days though.
please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly. k2u58ioz4c8e.png

Indie, I'm so sorry to hear about your niece and at such a young age too :( xx ((hugs))

Well done on the wins everyone, I've been trying to catch up with you all!

Sylvia, that's a great excuse for your family to come for Sunday lunch! I'm sure they'll find another jigsaw soon! :D

That's great that someone else can take over doing your herbs fire**fly :)

Hope you managed to get out of the house Sheils! I bet you're glad you weren't over this way yesterday!

Zeezee, that's very generous of you to give the homeless man cigs. I am the same and always want to give something but DH thinks I'm gullible! :o

Well we've had an eventful few days. On Thursday DD's primary school set on fire, luckily before the kids arrived. It was due to an electrical fault but what started off a small fire, spread quickly because the electric gates shut down and fire brigade couldn't get through. Luckily it hasn't damaged the whole school so the kids have to attend different schools in the area for each yr group. Yesterday what started off as a lovely hot day, quickly changed and we had floods everywhere as well as hail and snow showers. I've never seen it so bad then the thunder and lightening came, damaging property too! My roof is leaking more than ever now but at least we aren't flooded in the house. Today was a different story when I took DD to gym, it was hot again and we even sat on the beach which was packed! :p
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!
