Morning ,
I am just about to start investing in funds in a small way , I have allocated a pot of about 15k for this . I have been looking at various platforms for this task but have ended up confused as to the best one for my needs - regarding charges and usability . I have looked at Cofunds , Fidelity , HL , Maybe someone has been in the same boat and can offer some advice .
thanks

i am just moving from Hargreaves Lansdown to III.co.uk
am holding both Funds and Shares.0 -
I am new to platforms myself, so I'm not as well versed in their use as many on here; however, after extensive research, I've opened accounts with III for my existing holdings and an account with Charles Stanley Direct for new money which I will be drip feeding into funds.
My choices are based on costs together with excellent customer service experienced up 'till now.0 -
i'm surprised you wanted/needed to use more than 1 platform DL0

thanks for the input guys , I will take a look .0

Planteria - the CSD account is for putting small amounts into fairly regularly but not monthly; I'm putting the money into funds and CSD makes no charge for this.
When (if) the total reaches the break even point, I'll then look again at costs.
And, I will admit to a little curiosity as to the workings of each platform....0 -

If you plug your criteria into this link it should point you in the right direction

PS it's not comprehensive, i.e. it doesn't contain HL0 -
Youinvest, Charles Stanley Direct, Barclays Stockbrokers, Trustnet Direct are some others too. Have a look around and see which works best for you.0

There are a lot of threads regarding that over here and about comparing different platforms.
Few are:

Snowmans Platform comparison sheet which you will find here

Hi this might be a stupid question but here it goes.
I have a vantage isa with HL (2k) currently however I'm planning to invest for the next 30 years at £200 a month.
My question is if up until 20k holdings HL seems competitively priced - after this less so, this being the case in years to come can I transfer my Isa to more competitively priced platform?
Thanks for any help0
