Food Poisoning on Holiday

hi, my girlfriend seems to have gotten food poisoning on holiday and can't really pin point where she got it. My question is whether travel insurances typically cover something like this and how we can make our claim more successful.

We are not doing a packaged holiday. we are also in Santorini in Greece.

Thanks for your help.

Contact insurance company and ask them if they need proof. They may need a doctor to say it is food poisoning. Good luck.

What are you intending to claim for ?

Early/late flight home as she's unfit to fly ?

    Medication/medical costs ?

Or just some good old compensation for a dicky tummy whilst abroad

When did Santorini become part of England?

Overseas Travel forum usually deals with this stuff.

As stated, contact insurance company, keep receipts from seeing doctors etc.

I can confirm that some companies definitely cover things like this, but almost certainly only if you require medical attention. And you'll almost certainly have an excess on your policy.
