well Oh spent £2.50 today on some crisps, tortillas and dip (he got my faves for me to have this week!!) and i bought a knife block but thats not going to come out of this budget as it's sthg i've been after getting for ages. and as a bonus i got a free coffee and biscuit in the cook shop! :D so that saved me a couple of quid that i had been planning on spending.

  • Hi Folks,

Done my big monthly shop for the month and I spent £25.57 so I have £34.43 remaining for the rest of the month. With the £25.57 I managed to make 30 meals to freeze for the month as I already had lots of meat in the freezer. So the remaining money I have just has to do for weekly stuff and pack lunches. Hopefully I can do it.

    I have updated my signature

Right.. I'll be in again... I have a feeling our spending habits have taken a turn to the upsies and I'm NOT happy.

Ours is £600 a month (for 10 people, 3 cats, 3 rabbits and one fish)

I have just done a tesco order for delivery on Tuesday and will need to do another in a few days to cover cereals and staples. I have enough meat and tins and toiletries for the month. £150 spent already!!

We have had £21 a week to pay out to cover childcare and £8 travel too and from college.

Off to knit some more christmas presents!

Mrs M, please can you add me to the October list for £80 thanks :j

Not sure how I will do this month. I'm hoping to get my freezer back in and running soon and that will make such a huge difference to the way I can shop but then I will probably spend any spares on my store cupboard stock again:o

I've missed my freezer so much, I would much rather have done with out the tv :D
... don't throw the string away. You always need string! :D
